CHEMICAL SECTION HEAD

A high-profile contracting & trading company in the State of Qatar is seeking to hire a Chemical Section Head for its Cleaning & Services Division. Role: X Manage and direct Foreman / Technicians of the Chemical Cleaning Team in the project sites. X Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility. X Documentation of the Chemical Cleaning activities through daily and weekly reports X Monitoring the progress of work in relation to the project schedule X Pre commissioning cleaning X Chemical dosing X Find sources for the Company to obtain competitive and competent supplies sources for cleaning chemicals in order to optimize costs and obtain agencies for the Company X Work under Cleaning Division Manager and assist him in tender estimation for use of all cleaning chemicals, procurement and judicious use of chemicals in project site X Ensuring inspection of completed work and continuous monitoring of quality of services rendered. X Visit sites to check work in progress, intermittently to monitor the performance of staff and take the necessary action to manage performance X Keep himself abreast of the latest amendments or changes in the Government regulations regarding use and non-use of certain chemicals. X Protect the confidentiality of all information that is provided or obtained relating to all aspect of the business owners, distributors, agents, suppliers, associates and customers. Safeguards the property and assets of the company. Discharging the duties with highest integrity and professional ethics. X Ensure compliances with all policies and processes within the company units and extends full cooperation towards the internal and external constituencies. Applicant: X Possesses abilities to identify, implement and control projects leading to an increase of sales and profits. X Possesses Technical Skills, good knowledge of Cleaning industry. X Capable of making good verbal presentation and written Communication with clients and principals. X Possesses good interpersonal skills with all levels in company, internal and external clients. X Be fully familiar with International Standards X Possess a degree in Chemical Engineering or a University degree in science with Chemistry as major subject such as B.Sc. (Chemistry). X Have around 5 years of Experience in Estimation(Chemical Cleaning), application of cleaning chemicals in cleaning project site operations X Possess thorough knowledge in Project estimating and supervision X Should be well versed with planning and on-site coordination. X Age: Preferred age shall be between 30-40 X Nationality: Any X Excellent communications skills in written and spoken Arabic and English are must.
