Accountabilities:

  • be a designated member of the ERT (Emergency Response Team) in the function that the employee in this position is appointed to fulfil;
  • fire fighting and OSR equipment is maintained as per Instrument Maintenance Management procedures;
  • undertake emergency response as part of a Non-professional Emergency Response Team (NERT) implementing duties in accordance with relevant SEIC standing orders and Emergency Response Procedure;
  • participate in continuous improvement programmes in the search for operations excellence;
  • supervise subordinates and MMSC (maintenance and modernisation services contractors) services in execution of all instrument maintenance activities of the OPF;
  • interact with state supervision and control authorities;
  • take immediate measures towards elimination of equipment failures and assist with the diagnosis and resolution of maintenance or operational problems;
  • fulfil requirements for improvement of instrumentation maintenance organisation by establishing development plans and recruit and develop skilled staff;
  • fulfil his duties in case of emergency callout;
  • assist or participate in studies on maintenance aimed at risk reduction, studies and analysis of the main causes of failures, etc.;
  • ensure update of the instrumentation maintenance documentation and as-built documents and their compliance with the requirements of the Russian Federation;
  • provide input to the OPF Opex and Capex budgets;
  • act as a mentor;
  • repair and maintenance of instrumentation and control devices both at the operating facilities of the Company and in the shop laboratories;
  • study new instrumentation and control automation types and devices and training of the shop area staff in competent operation of these devices;
  • prevention of faulty production and downtimes and at elimination of their causes.

Accountabilities:

  • perform preventative maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) work on low- and high- voltage equipment, generators, motors, transformers, switchgear and power electronics associated with production and utility equipment on LNG, OET, TLU and water wells;
  • verify and document all electrical repair and PM work;
  • troubleshoot / diagnose [fault find] and repair electrical equipment / installations [eg lighting] and DB systems used on production process and utility areas;
  • maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical systems and equipment by reference to technical journals, books, operating manuals, and other reference materials;
  • report daily activity, provide input to safety meetings, and report any defects or deviations to supervisor as well as in computerised maintenance management system (SAP);
  • ensure the reliability and integrity of the plant equipment and systems such that all activities and work are carried out safely and properly in accordance with established policies, standards and procedures;
  • isolate and de-isolate end users, such as electric motors, heat tracing, etc.;
  • perform switching operations on low- and -high voltage distribution systems;
  • be fully conversant with SAP PM to be able to use the systems to co-ordinate and execute work and ensure history data is entered and maintained;
  • ensure all electrical system documentation and software is kept up-to-date to maintain its integrity;
  • test run [with Operator present] motors that are reinstalled after overhaul work is completed;
  • promote a positive attitude towards maintaining and improving HSE performance;
  • make recommendations for changing PM schedules based on observed plant performance and failure modes;
  • undertake approved modifications to equipment with the agreement of the Electrical Support Engineers and in accordance with company procedures for plant change and project implementation;
  • ensure the efficient and effective installation, troubleshooting and commissioning of new projects;
  • complete assigned tasks including complete reinstatement of plant and leave the work site in a clean and tidy condition;
  • obtain material and equipment required to complete correctly all allocated tasks;
  • continually monitor and seek to improve the team’s performance, suggest, and where appropriate, implement cost saving to ensure the effective control of the maintenance budget;
  • report and advise the discipline supervisor of any abnormal or potential failure of equipment that could lead to unsafe conditions;
  • demonstrate a strong safety attitude;
  • respond to normal and abnormal operating conditions;
  • be part of a duty roster system;
  • train less experienced electrical technicians;
  • attend all mandatory RN and SEIC and other necessary training;
  • comply with the Engineering Technician Progression Program (ETPP).

Job requirements:

Experience and Qualifications required:

  • be certified to RF Electrical Safety Level 5;
  • higher professional education or specialised tertiary education and additional training in electrical engineering (specialisation power engineering);

Position : Planner / Scheduler - Job Descriptions

    • JHA, MSDS, permits, and OHSE procedures,

Position : QA/QC coordinator - Job Descriptions
  • Participate in the HSE objective and plans for the O&M Business
  • Ensure the housekeeping in your areas at all times meets the minimum requirement
  • Ensure that you complete the Job Hazard Analysis process for work that would present any hazard or risk to personnel or equipment.
  • Assist the HSE Advisor in conducting Incident Investigations involving contractors
  • Report workplace hazards, taking part in safety drills and other activities and supporting the work of safety representatives and committees.
  • Champion safety best practise, maintain a regular field presence
  • Ensure waste management guidelines and procedures are complied with and adhered to;
  • Ensure that there are no environmental breaches or business exposure due to QA/QC activity;
  • Monitor and identify training needs
  • Provide emergency response support as directed.
  • Leading tool box meetings as and when required
  • Utilises materials and resources competently; accurately and carefully follows established procedures for completing work tasks
  • Promote & participate in the value creation system - reviews processes to identify gaps between requirements and current outputs to identify opportunities to make improvements at work
  • Identify opportunities to improve best practice and implement.
  • Participate in the development of site annual improvement programs
  • Use and maintain site specific Quality Manual - operational systems
  • Develop work group involvement and ownership of the Fluor Quality System to achieve quality outcomes
  • Capable to lead and execute audits
  • Coordinate, conduct, capture and close-out of internal / external site audits
  • Review design scope and approach with regard to quality and submit recommendations for changes if required.
  • Interface with Shell integrity team
  • Must be capable of developing and interpreting the QA/QC related procedures and guidelines and actively pursue all staff to adhere to the QA/QC standards.
  • Must be capable of training staff in QA/QC procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • 10 year's practical working experience relating to Oil/Gas or Refinery, Petrochemical related environment.
  • Minimum 2 years in QA/QC position
  • Must have a sound understanding of how a QA/QC structure.
  • Working knowledge of NDT requirements for Petrochemical or Power Generation industry
COMPETENCIES
  • Ability to take initiative within his job responsibilities.
  • Computer awareness and proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point and Planning tools.
  • Must be able to work with computers utilising Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
  • Must have a formal training in QA/QC Management and working knowledge of ISO 9001-2000 and 14001 systems.
  • Proficient in the English Language (oral and writing).
  • Must have working knowledge of AWS, ASME and ANSI codes.
  • Must be familiar with the different welding techniques and its quality requirements.
  • Preferably have experience in facilitation of Root Cause Analysis.
