Must have good knowledge of commercial transactions such as enquiry generation, quotations, purchase orders, payment terms, packing norms, shipping, invoicing etc, good knowledge of stores management, inventory control, inventory valuation FIFO, LIFO etc. Familiar with vendor evaluation techniques. Check computational ability - to calculate. (Such as rate of interest, discount, surcharge, landed cost, duty, tax, etc.) Negotiation skills/level of patience. Demonstrated advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
