Electrical Operation Technician

Sr. Operator Process (FIELD)

Contract Hire Location: Das Island Minimum Requirements: Technical Secondary Education (12 years) and higher diploma (i.e. ATI or HCT) in relevant field or equivalent with 6 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry as Plant Shift Operator including 2 years experience on DCS. Role:Supervises and coordinates the activities of Plant Area Shift Operators in the operation of multi plant areas in the LNG industrial complex to ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently. This includes identifying maintenance requirements and where immediate action is required, and organising the necessary Operations personnel to carry out preparation work. Supervises the activities during Major Shutdowns. Also supervises the re-streaming and commissioning of Plant equipment as required. Supervises and coordinates the operation of plant areas from the field or control room, according to job knowledge / Plant manuals and instructions and known operating technical constraints. Maintains continuous liaison with other Senior Operators to coordinate activities and control of the integrated units. Takes necessary immediate corrective action to prevent production losses. Monitors and coordinates the actions of Shift Area Operator in the routine operation of assigned industrial areas to ensure production targets are achieved. Assesses where production constraints exist and implements remedial action to maximize production.
